Σύντομος απολογισμός της δράσης «Υπεύθυνη Παρουσία στα Πεδία Αναρρίχησης»
Η δράση «Υπεύθυνη Παρουσία στα Πεδία Αναρρίχησης» ολοκληρώθηκε με τη συμμετοχή είκοσι ατόμων από το Μονόδρυ, τη Βρύση, τον Γαβαλά, το Αλιβέρι, τη Χαλκίδα, το Σχηματάρι και την Αθήνα, σε ένα κλίμα ουσιαστικής ενημέρωσης, ανταλλαγής εμπειριών και ενεργής συμμετοχής.
Λόγω αγροτοδασικής πυρκαγιάς που ξέσπασε στην περιοχή της Επισκοπής, κοντά στο αναρριχητικό πεδίο όπου είχε αρχικά προγραμματιστεί η δράση, και για λόγους πρόληψης και ασφάλειας, η ενημερωτική συνάντηση πραγματοποιήθηκε τελικά στην πλατεία του χωριού Βρύση, παρότι η κατάσταση είχε ήδη βελτιωθεί.
Οι συμμετέχοντες παρακολούθησαν με ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον την ενημέρωση γύρω από ζητήματα αναρριχητικής ηθικής και δεοντολογίας, καθώς και την επίδειξη βασικών χειρισμών αναρριχητή και ασφαλιστή από τον Διονύση Στραβογένη, Οδηγό Βουνού ΕΟΟΑ. Η διαδικασία είχε διαδραστικό χαρακτήρα, με ερωτήσεις, απαντήσεις και ανταλλαγή απόψεων μεταξύ εισηγητή και συμμετεχόντων.
Μετά την ολοκλήρωση και ρητή λήξη της ενημερωτικής δράσης, ακολούθησε μετάβαση σε κοντινό αναρριχητικό πεδίο της περιοχής, όπου σκαρφαλώθηκαν διαδρομές μέχρι τη δύση του ηλίου.

Brief recap of the initiative ‘Responsible Presence at the Climbing Crags‘
The initiative ‘Responsible Presence at the Climbing Crags‘ was completed with the participation of twenty people from Monodri, Vrysi, Gavala, Aliveri, Chalkida, Schimatari and Athens, in an atmosphere of meaningful information-sharing, exchange of experience and active involvement.
Due to a wildland fire that broke out in the area of Episkopi, close to the climbing crag where the initiative had originally been scheduled to take place, and for reasons of prevention and safety, the information session was eventually held in the square of the village of Vrysi, even though the situation had already improved.
Participants followed with great interest the presentation on issues of climbing ethics and responsible conduct, as well as the demonstration of basic climber and belayer procedures by Dionysis Stravogenis, EOOA Mountain Guide. The session was interactive, with questions, answers and an exchange of views between the instructor and the participants.
After the completion and formal conclusion of the information initiative, a visit to a nearby climbing crag in the area followed, where a number of routes were climbed until sunset.
